What an unreal celebration for a damn beautiful couple!

When I think about rustic weddings, the first thing that will now come to mind is the couple I photographed on Saturday who got married on their beautiful farm in Wainui. This epic wedding was full of rustic charm and it made for some truly stunning photographs!

The First Look Location

Bre and Clarke had chosen a breathtaking spot overlooking Matata’s rolling hills and coastal views as their First Look location. Followed by some beautiful bridal party photographs nestled under some beautiful tall poplar trees. This theme was carried on through to their ceremony location, being held outside beneath gorgeous native trees surrounded by the people they love most! As they said their vows to one another, the festivities continued into the night for their wedding day.

When I walked into the air bnb where Bre was getting ready I had a feeling, almost immediately, that this day was going to be something very special. And I am happy to say, my intuition was damn correct! Documenting their whole day was such a dream. I had so much fun with everyone involved and learning about the people they loved most and what family meant to them was truly beautiful.

Sunset Couple Portraits

In the evening the sky provided a stunning show for the newly married couple! As the sun set, beautiful colours lit up the sky in celebration of their union. The hues of pink and orange painted an unforgettable backdrop that felt like a blessing from above. This moment was truly magical, making it even more special as they celebrated becoming husband and wife surrounded by pure love.

‘Man Of Honour’

A very cool point of difference this wedding had was that the bride didn’t have a Maid Of Honour but instead a Man Of Honour. Her best friend is in fact her twin brother. They are as thick as thieves and it definitely made Bre’s day that bit more special for her, having her twin brother right by her side like it had been growing up.

The end of the night was a damn blast for the wedding party in the barn. With beautiful festoon lights twinkling like a blanket of stars, it provided a romantic, fun and inviting atmosphere for everyone to let loose and enjoy the moment. There was an awesome band that kept the energy up as laughter and conversation filled the air!

Classy And Rustic With A Modern Charm

Adding to the funky and classy vibes of their special day the bride wore a very cool fedora hat at the end of the night that perfectly complemented her wedding look. She looked absolutely amazing and it added a special touch to the theme of their big day.

Everyone at the wedding couldn’t help but admire how lovely and stylish the couple looked along with the incredible styling and theme that was perfectly executed for their wedding day!

It was truly an unforgettable night for all who were there. A perfect way to start off this couple’s new life together and commemorate their union in a beautiful and memorable way. I left feeling truly grateful to have been part of such a special celebration, I am so lucky!
