Weddings are a beautiful mix of love, family, and culture. Eilidh and Liam’s wedding at Mudbrick on Waiheke Island was a perfect example of this, blending their Scottish heritage with the stunning backdrop of New Zealand’s Tāmaki Straight. As they exchanged vows, they partook in a traditional Scottish drinking ritual, sharing a special drink from an ornate cup that symbolised their unity and shared journey.

Mudbrick Vineyards and Restaurant is a dream venue for any couple looking to wed on Waiheke Island. The panoramic views of the Tāmaki Straight provided a breathtaking backdrop for Eilidh and Liam’s ceremony and reception. The golden hues of the setting sun reflecting off the water created an ethereal atmosphere, perfect for capturing those intimate, candid moments.
